Ananthapura Temple

The Ananthapura Lake Temple, Kerala’s only lake temple, is located on the northernmost edge of the state. This gorgeous temple is located on a rectangular lake that is constantly supplied with spring water. It is considered the moolasthanam (original residence) of Lord Ananthapadmanabha, the deity of Thiruvananthapuram’s famed Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
